'Striking Balance': The manifestation of the power of water, wind and time.
The feeling of the works I have shot between 2016 - 2018 is to show that people, water, rocks, and metal elements can work together when viewed from above. The photos sometimes show chaos and disruption, while some show serenity and bliss - in the end, no matter what the subject portrayed - there is a unifying beauty in shapes, emotion, and stillness. The balance of these diametric forces is what is to be experienced when viewing the works. The excitement and tension are increased in the works as my studio is a fast-moving doorless helicopter 500 to 3000 feet above the ground when capturing the images. The series of images captures my work across Hawaii, California, Arizona, Utah, Greece, Sri Lanka, NYC, The Hamptons, and Florida.
About the Book:
The book has been designed by the talented young designer Adam Osadon from Queens, NY. 'Striking Balance' is being custom printed by Edition One Books in Berkeley, California and the 1st edition will be limited to only 125 books, each numbered and signed by the artist.
